What the candidate was looking for
Having begun her working life as a sales and marketing strategist, with more recent experience in high-level business development, our candidate was on the lookout for an opportunity to take the next step in her career.
Her various roles had given her a strong network of commercial contacts as well as good connections with government officials and departments, so she was keen to explore moving into a role that allowed her to further develop those relationships. Although she had been educated and employed in various locations across East Africa, her home was Kenya and she was interested in job opportunities that would allow her to live and work there again.

How we approached the search

A role suitable for this candidate emerged almost immediately. One of our clients, a technology and digital education company, was looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to lead their business-to-government sales strategies. Our candidate’s skill set and career goals matched this position perfectly.
